Meshy sells credits, not models. This calculator assumes about 30 credits per textured model (20 for the mesh, 10 for texturing), so treat Meshy's model counts as estimates.

Meshy vs Sloyd: what you will actually pay

Meshy sells credits, so your bill grows with every model. Sloyd's paid plan has unlimited generations. See where each one makes sense for the models you need.

Pricing questions buyers ask

How many models does a Meshy credit buy?

Meshy's docs list 20 credits for a Meshy 6 mesh and 10 for texturing, so a textured model is about 30 credits. Pro's 1,000 credits is therefore roughly 33 textured models; this calculator uses a more generous 15-credit estimate, so treat its Meshy model counts as optimistic.

Can I use Meshy's free plan commercially?

Free-plan assets are licensed under CC BY 4.0, so you may use them but must credit Meshy. Paid plans include commercial use without that credit requirement.

Does Sloyd really have unlimited generations?

Plus lists unlimited text-to-3D, image-to-3D, skybox, texturing and animation generations at $15 monthly or $12.50 yearly. Sloyd states that fair-use limits and queue priority still apply, and Plus runs 2 generations in parallel.

What are Sloyd's credits for if generations are unlimited?

Credits cover heavier features such as video, text-to-motion, multi-image-to-3D, split-to-parts, image-to-scene and ultra-high outputs. Plus includes 50 a month and Pro ($50 monthly, $41.67 yearly) includes 350.

Do unused Meshy credits carry over?

Monthly plan credits reset, and Meshy states that purchased credits do not expire. Failed generations are not charged.

Can I reach Meshy or Sloyd from my own code?

Yes, both have a REST API billed separately from the web subscription. Meshy requires Pro or above and charges 5 to 35 credits per image-to-3D call depending on model; Sloyd sells prepaid credits starting at $12 for 900.

Which file formats can I export?

Meshy lists GLB, FBX, OBJ, USDZ, STL and 3MF. Sloyd's free web exports are GLB and OBJ, and its API lists GLB, FBX, OBJ, USD, BLEND, PLY, STL and 3MF.
